Monk Fruit is a small Southeast Asian tropical melon. Monk fruit extract is combined with erythritol, a sugar alcohol obtained from the fermentation of non-GMO corn glucose. Fruits including pear, melons, and grapes also contain erythritol. Erythritol-Monk Fruit Blend has the same sweetness as sucrose. Our monk fruit blend measures 1-to-1 just like sugar, so it is an easy substitute to use in place of sugar.
